Regular readers will know that I am quite critical of the manner in which personal financial advice/planning is formulated in Ireland, as evidenced by the following:-
* The HSE means tested ALL of Ireland’s 70 + year olds (2009) and found that 95% are “too poor to fund their own care!”
* At the end of the greatest economic boom this country has ever seen (2010), most Irish citizens were “poorer than when the boom started!”
The problem is that financial advice is biased and is generally offered in isolation and this system has led all but an elite few to relative poverty (relative to the lifestyle enjoyed when working). Change is needed and if you do not alter HOW you engage with advisers then it is most likely that history will repeat itself and you will end your working life as ill-prepared as most have in the past.
As you may have noticed, I left the employ of Aon last month, one of the major reasons being that their own internal rules barred me from delivering the all encompassing service I believe ensures that my clients will deliver the very best financial present/future possible.
I am not as busy today as I have been used to and this means that I have the opportunity to offer a fully impartial review of your existing financial arrangements without an up-front fee. I am making this offer to any follower of mine on a first-come, first-serve basis and will meet any respondent to this post without cost or commitment for a 1-2-1 basis. If you would like to avail of this FREE offer all you need do is message me separately with your contact details and I will be in touch.
